Big Data Lab prerequisites

All the seats in the Big Data lab have been taken. The waiting list is also full. If you are on the waiting list, we will inform you if a space becomes available. If you have have a confirmed spot in this lab but can no longer attend, please do send us an email so that your seat can be offered to those on the waiting list.

Here are the prerequisites for the lab.

8 GB of memory
4 GB of free disk space
Ability to install software from a USB drive
4 hours of battery life

RAC Attack prerequisites

Seating is limited so please reserve a seat in this lab only if you are sure to attend. Here are the prerequisites for the lab.

8 GB of memory
60 GB of free disk space
Any operating system that can run Oracle VirtualBox 64-bit but Windows 64-bit (XP, Vista, or 7) is preferred
4 hours of battery life

RAC Attack attendees must also download the Oracle VirtualBox and Oracle Database software prior to the event because the downloads are large and take a long time. The instructions are at http://www.nocoug.org/download/2013-11/RAC_Attack_12c_Prerequisites.pdf. Please complete the prerequisites before conference day.
