Conference attendees who register by Friday, January 22 will receive a signed copy of Steven Feuerstein’s book “Oracle PL/SQL Language Pocket Reference”, thanks to conference sponsor Axxana.

The first ever YesSQL Summit will be held on Tuesday, January 26 and 27 in conjunction with BIWA Summit and Spatial Summit. The NoCOUG winter conference is the first day (January 26) of YesSQL Summit  but NoCOUG members may attend either day (January 26 or January 27) of YesSQL Summit for free as their quarterly membership entitlement and optionally purchase the other day for a modest charge of $99. Online registration and payment is required. Membership renewals, conference registration, and payments are not handled at the conference venue.

A limited number of guest passes for the winter conference is available for first-time NoCOUG conference attendees and students. Please send requests to contact_nocoug@nocoug.org.

In addition to the presentations at YesSQL Summit, NoCOUG attendees can choose from a smorgasbord of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Analytics, Graph, and Spatial presentations at BIWA Summit and Spatial Summit. Click here to view the combined agenda.

Bring your camera! There will be a guided tour of the Oracle campus at lunch time. Take your picture in front of the amazing 130-foot high sailboat that won the Americas Cup, marvel at the pastries made by Chef Ian in the coffee shop in Building 300, walk around “Larry Lake” (the old Marine World lagoon), and buy a memento at the Oracle store in Building 500.

Directions

Southbound: Take Highway 101 South (toward San Jose) to the Ralston Ave./Marine World Parkway exit. Take Marine World Parkway east which will loop you back over the freeway. Make a left at the first light onto Oracle Parkway. 350 Oracle Parkway will be on the right.

Northbound: Take Highway 101 North (toward San Francisco) to the Ralston Ave./Marine World Parkway exit. Take the first exit ramp onto Marine World Parkway. Make a left at the first light onto Oracle Parkway. 350 Oracle Parkway will be on the right.

Parking

The Conference Center has a designated parking lot located directly across from the building. If the lot is filled there is also additional parking in any of the parking garages located near by. No parking permits are needed.
