The inventor of relational theory, Dr. Edgar Codd, had the last word on NoSQL more than thirty years ago when he said “Only if the performance requirements are extremely severe should buyers rule out present relational DBMS products.” The bottom line is that Oracle professionals need to learn about NoSQL since, as admitted by Oracle Corporation, relational databases have some catching up to do in certain specialized use-cases such as event processing. Our conference director Sai Devabhaktuni has therefore created a fabulous agenda combining the best of SQL and NoSQL (with hands-on labs and cherries on top). For the first time in NoCOUG’s 30-year history, the quarterly conference has, not three, but four parallel tracks. This is one conference you don't want to miss. And, it's free for members and their guests; PayPal employees; first-time conference attendees; and students.

  • Prior registration (online only) is required for security, badging, catering, and notifications. Membership renewal, conference registration, and payments are not processed at the conference venue.
  • If something comes up which makes it impossible for you to attend, please send an email to contact_nocoug@nocoug.org so that we can adjust the catering order.
  • A full refund can be obtained by sending a refund request to contact_nocoug@nocoug.org at least one week prior to the event. No refunds are possible if the refund request is received less than one week prior to the event.
